Somaphobe
A burned-out detective, an occult apprentice, and a corpse that needs to talk.
Set in a bleak, cold town, this psychological horror visual novel follows a cynical investigator forced to confront things he spent his life denying. When a young woman shows up at his office claiming a recent disappearance is tied to dark magic, they have only one night to track down the truth before the trail goes cold for good.
To solve the case, you'll have to deal with the dead directly. Scavenge the crime scene to find the scattered, mutilated parts of the victim and piece them back together. Under the cover of darkness, your partner acts as a spiritual anchor, allowing you to temporarily reanimate and interrogate the stitched corpse.
Piece together the clues, manage a tense partnership, and survive a race against time where every recovered limb brings you closer to a terrifying reality.
This game prototype is in early and active development.
