Luna has dreamed of this moment for years.

Tonight is supposed to be the most important night of her life, her debut as a harpist at the city's auditorium.

But after an argument at home, she runs away into the freezing night, determined to reach the stage no matter what.

The city feels strangely empty.

Sirens echo somewhere in the distance. People hurry in the opposite direction. Familiar streets begin to repeat themselves, hallways stretch farther than they should, and human silhouettes emerge from the darkness.

And above it all, the stars continue to watch.

Something is wrong with this night.

Something doesn't want Luna to reach the auditorium.

And the closer she gets to the lights, the harder it becomes to tell whether the things chasing her are part of the city...

or part of herself.

Unlit is a narrative 2.5D Visual Novel / RPG that combines a 2D character with a fully 3D world, creating a surreal journey through snowy streets, liminal spaces and distorted memories.

At its heart, Unlit is a story about fear, pressure, loneliness and the courage to keep moving forward even when the world seems determined to stop you.

Explore a melancholic city where reality slowly begins to break apart.

Pass through looping apartment hallways, deserted streets and impossible spaces. Escape from shadow-like figures born from Luna's fear of other people, uncover subtle clues hidden throughout the environment and survive encounters where emotional pressure becomes something very real.

Explore distorted environments, solve spatial anomalies and survive the pressure surrounding Luna as she makes her way toward the auditorium.

★ Explore a distorted 2.5D world

Walk through handcrafted 3D environments while controlling a stylized 2D character.

Some locations gradually transform into repeating, impossible spaces where noticing small differences between each loop is the only way to escape.

★ Stay out of the stars' sight

Remaining beneath the open sky for too long increases Luna's exposure. 

The longer she stays outside, the more reality begins to deteriorate: visual hallucinations appear, sounds distort and the world becomes increasingly unstable.

Find shelter before the space around you completely collapses.

(Mechanic TBD: This mechanic is implemented but not active due to game design, though it is planned to be activated in further development.)

★ Face your fears

The shadows wandering through the city aren't ordinary enemies.

When Luna is overwhelmed by them, encounters shift into a turn-based RPG battle taking place within her mind.

Instead of traditional health, Luna must control a Pressure Meter.

Use different actions to calm herself, regain control and reach Clarity before the pressure becomes too much.

★ Survive bullet-hell encounters

Enemy turns transform battles into short 3D bullet-hell sequences.

Dodge incoming attacks inside the arena until Luna can act again.

The closer she gets to losing control, the more dangerous each encounter becomes.
